# FAQs

> Common questions, expected behaviors, and troubleshooting for the Adjust data source.

## Why can't I change Adjust's attribution window in Adriel?

Adjust reports are always requested with a fixed set of attribution settings. Every report uses the click, impression, and engaged-ad attribution types together with a dynamic attribution source, and these values are not configurable from the connector.

This keeps attribution consistent across every Adjust data source, so numbers stay comparable from one dashboard to another. Changing the attribution model on the Adjust side changes how events are attributed at the source, but the connector will continue to request that same fixed combination.

## Why are my SKAN numbers coarse (Low, Medium, or High) instead of exact?

This is expected, and it comes from Apple's SKAdNetwork (SKAN) privacy design rather than from the connector. Apple returns fine-grained conversion values only on the first postback for some users; the second and third postbacks carry a coarse Low, Medium, or High signal instead of an exact value.

Adjust exposes both sides of this: the fine-grained conversion value total from the first postback, and the coarse per-postback values for the first, second, and third postbacks. For the fullest SKAN picture, read the fine total and the coarse values together rather than expecting an exact number on every postback. For the full list of SKAN metrics, see the [Adjust data reference](/data-sources/a-f/adjust/data-reference).

## Why do my iOS installs split into authorized, denied, and restricted rows?

iOS install metrics are broken out by App Tracking Transparency (ATT) status, so the same installs appear as separate variants for authorized, denied, restricted, and not determined consent. This split reflects the consent state Apple reports for each install and is expected behavior, not a duplication or a counting error.

These variants are useful for understanding consent rates per network or campaign. To see a single combined install figure, use the standard Installs metric rather than the ATT-split variants. Both are listed in the [Adjust data reference](/data-sources/a-f/adjust/data-reference).

## Which Adjust metric categories are available in Adriel?

The Adjust data source exposes four metric categories — Conversion, Ad spend, Revenue, and SKAdNetwork — all documented in the [Adjust data reference](/data-sources/a-f/adjust/data-reference). Metrics outside those four categories are not available through this data source.

## Which timezone do my Adjust numbers use?

Adjust numbers use the UTC offset chosen when the data source is created. That offset is applied to every report request, so it controls how daily data is bucketed by day. The default offset is UTC (`+00:00`) unless a different one is selected at setup.

The offset is fixed for the life of the data source and cannot be changed in place afterward. If reporting needs to move to a different timezone, create a new Adjust data source with the intended offset. See [How to connect Adjust to Adriel](/data-sources/a-f/adjust/how-to-connect) for the setup flow.
