# How to connect

> How to connect the Google Local Services Ads Report data source to Adriel: authorize with Google and select the accounts to report on.

Google Local Services Ads (LSA) is Google's pay-per-lead ad format for local service businesses, charging for phone calls, messages, and bookings rather than clicks. Connecting it brings LSA account-level performance and individual lead records into Adriel dashboards, covering leads, ad spend, cost per lead, and lead type and status.

## Before you connect

The following are required:

* A Google account with access to the target Local Services Ads accounts.
* Access to the parent Google Ads account (MCC) that manages the LSA accounts, so lead-level records can be retrieved.
* A shortlist of the LSA accounts to report on. The account selector accepts up to 10 accounts per connection.

## Connect Google Local Services Ads Report

<Steps>
  <Step title="Authorize with Google">
    On the **Data Sources** page, search for **Google Local Services Ads Report** and select it. Sign in to Google in the pop-up using an account with access to the target Local Services Ads accounts, then grant the requested read permissions. Google shows the exact scope list on the consent screen.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select the accounts">
    From the **Account(s)** dropdown, choose the Local Services Ads accounts to connect. Select 10 accounts or fewer.

    <Warning>
      Limit the selection to 10 accounts or fewer. Selecting more than 10 accounts can cause the connection to fail.
    </Warning>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Submit">
    Click **Submit** to complete the connection. The initial sync runs in the background, and LSA data appears in dashboards once it finishes.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## What gets imported

The connector imports LSA performance through two paths: account-level reports (leads, ad spend, cost per lead) and lead-level records (individual leads with type, disposition, and timing). Both are combined for reporting in Adriel widgets.

  <Accordion title="The Google pop-up does not open or closes immediately">
    Authorization runs in a browser pop-up. Allow pop-ups for the Adriel domain, disable any extension that blocks them, and restart the flow from the **Data Sources** page.

  <Accordion title="Lead-level data is missing">
    Lead-level records are retrieved through the parent Google Ads account. Confirm the connected Google account has access to both the Local Services Ads accounts and the Google Ads account that manages them, then reconnect.
