# FAQs

> Common questions, expected behaviors, and troubleshooting for the Naver Smart Place data source.

## Why can't I add more than 10 places to one Naver Smart Place connection?

The multi-select step during connection is capped at **10 places** per connection. When a Naver account owns more than 10 places, the remaining places can be added by creating additional Naver Smart Place connections from the same account. Each connection produces one data source per selected place.

For the connection flow, see [How to connect Naver Smart Place](/data-sources/g-n/naver-smart-place/how-to-connect).

## Why won't my Naver Smart Place connection authenticate?

Naver Smart Place has no official API, so the connection signs in with a Naver login rather than OAuth. A few Naver-side settings must be in place for the login to succeed:

* The credential must be the Naver login **ID or phone number**, not an email-format ID. Values containing `@` are rejected before login is attempted.
* **Two-step verification must be disabled** on the Naver account.
* **Seoul-region logins must be allowed** in the account's Naver security settings. Naver's default region-block behavior will otherwise block the login.

Once those settings are corrected, the connection can be reconnected. If authentication still fails after all three are confirmed, email `support@adriel.com` with the affected data source.

## Can I report on profile views, phone-call clicks, or direction requests?

No. This data source reports review-focused metrics plus reservations and receipts. Available metrics are daily and cumulative review counts, replied reviews, the Naver Map review breakdown (total, blog, and keyword/star reviews), reservations, and receipts. Engagement metrics such as profile views, phone-call clicks, direction requests, and saves are not available from Naver Smart Place in Adriel.

For the full field list, see the [Naver Smart Place data reference](/data-sources/g-n/naver-smart-place/data-reference).

## Why do some of my places show zero Naver Map review metrics?

Some Naver places redirect to Naver Booking instead of a Naver Map profile. For those booking-type places, the Naver Map metrics — Naver Map total reviews, blog reviews, and keyword/star reviews — return **zero**, because there is no Naver Map profile to read them from. The review, reservation, and receipt metrics are unaffected and continue to report normally.

## Why did my Naver Smart Place data stop updating after a store ownership change?

While a place's ownership change is under review on Naver, no data can be collected for that place. Reporting resumes automatically once the ownership transfer completes on Naver's side. Existing historical rows are preserved during the gap.
