Answers to common questions about how the Quora data source behaves in Adriel, and how to resolve the issues that come up most often. ## Why can't I break Quora data down by country, device, or audience? Quora data can be sliced by date, hierarchy level (ad account, campaign, ad set, ad), and conversion type only. Demographic, device, placement, interest, and geographic breakdowns are not available from the Quora Ads reporting API, so those breakdowns do not appear in Adriel. Widgets that need a geographic or audience cut of Quora spend cannot be built from this data source. Recent Quora figures are provisional and settle over the following days. When a dashboard loads, Adriel reads the latest values directly from Quora, and scheduled syncs also refresh recent windows at the ad-account level. As Quora finalizes attribution and late-arriving conversions, the numbers for the last several days can move even though nothing changed in the campaign. This is expected behavior. Figures from the most recent few days should be treated as still settling; older dates are stable. The daily breakdown is capped at 93 days per report. A single widget using the daily grain over a longer date range shows data only within that window, and older days may be truncated. Wider ranges are available at coarser grains: the weekly breakdown reaches back one year, and the monthly breakdown reaches back two years. To chart a long history, a widget can switch to a weekly or monthly time grouping instead of daily. ## Why did my Quora connection ask me to reconnect? Adriel refreshes Quora authorization automatically in the background. If Quora returns a response without valid credentials during that refresh, the connection cannot renew itself and moves into a reconnect state so the problem is visible rather than silently failing. This usually follows a password change, a revoked authorization, or a permissions change on the Quora account. Reconnecting restores access. When an ad account's currency differs from the Adriel workspace currency, Quora costs are converted to the workspace currency using the current day's exchange rate. Because the rate applied is the current one, historical spend figures can shift slightly from day to day and will not line up to the cent with amounts shown in the account's native currency inside Quora. Comparisons are most reliable when the ad account and the workspace use the same currency. ## Why does my Quora widget show a "blocked by Cloudflare" message? Quora sits behind Cloudflare, which occasionally returns a challenge page instead of data. When that happens, Adriel surfaces a named "blocked by Cloudflare" message rather than a generic failure, so the cause is clear. The condition is normally temporary. Reloading the dashboard once the challenge clears usually resolves it; if the message persists across several refreshes, email `support@adriel.com` with the affected dashboard URL. ## Related Metrics, breakdowns, refresh cadence, and date-range limits for Quora.
