# FAQs

> Common questions, expected behaviors, and troubleshooting for the Sistrix data source.

## Why is my Sistrix Visibility Index different on mobile vs desktop?

Sistrix computes visibility and ranking data separately for each device, because the mobile and desktop SERPs differ. A domain can rank differently on the two, so the Visibility Index, positions, and keyword counts will not match across devices.

When the **Include mobile** option is enabled on the data source, Adriel runs each query twice — once for desktop and once for mobile — and merges both into a single result set, split by the **Device** breakdown. Enabling this option uses more Sistrix credits, since it doubles the number of API calls. To compare devices, add the **Device** breakdown to the widget; to report on one device only, leave **Include mobile** off.

## Why do my competitor and keyword reports have no date filter?

Only the Visibility Index family returns daily time-series data. Competitor reports, ranking distribution, keyword traffic, opportunities, ideas, and most Optimizer surfaces return a current snapshot that reflects the most recent crawl Sistrix has published, with no date breakdown attached.

As a result, a date range or **Date** breakdown has no effect on those widgets — they always show the latest available snapshot. For trended reporting over time, use a Visibility Index endpoint, which does carry a daily **Date** breakdown. See the [Sistrix data reference](/data-sources/o-z/sistrix/data-reference) for which reports are daily and which are snapshots.

## What happens when my Sistrix credits run out?

Sistrix bills API usage by credits. When the account's credits are exhausted, Sistrix returns a "not enough credits" error and the affected widgets stop loading new data; Adriel does not retry automatically. Existing cached values stay visible, but fresh values will not arrive until credits are restored on the Sistrix side.

To reduce credit consumption, enable **Include mobile** only where a device comparison is needed, and avoid duplicating the same report across many data sources. Once more credits are available in the Sistrix account, data resumes on the next sync.

## Why can't I combine different Sistrix metrics in one widget?

Each Sistrix data source targets a single report, and the available metrics and breakdowns are scoped to that report alone — there is no guaranteed overlap of fields between reports. A metric from the domain overview and a metric from a keyword report live in different data sources and cannot be requested together in one widget.

Sistrix also accepts only one breakdown per query. Requesting more than one breakdown at a time is rejected. To present fields from different reports side by side, create a separate data source for each report and place them in adjacent widgets on the same dashboard.

## Why doesn't my Sistrix data combine with other connectors?

Sistrix results are presented in a generic table. They can only be natively combined with another data source when both share identical breakdowns — for example, a matching **Country** or **Date** breakdown. When breakdowns differ, cross-connector analysis relies on data-blending settings rather than a native join.

For organic-search reporting alongside other tools, the [SE Ranking](/data-sources/o-z/se-ranking/data-reference) and [Semrush](/data-sources/o-z/semrush/data-reference) data references cover comparable SEO connectors, and [Google Search Console](/data-sources/g-n/google-search-console/data-reference) covers first-party organic performance.
