## 2026-08-06 — Breakdown & Metric additions

**Campaign, ad set, and ad IDs are now also available as plain numbers.** X identifies campaigns, ad sets, and ads with a base-36 alphanumeric encoding — an ID looks like `adr26` — and that string form was until now the only version the connector provided. Three new fields, `Campaign ID (Numeric)`, `Ad Set ID (Numeric)`, and `Ad ID (Numeric)`, provide the same identifiers in the standard base-10 numbering system. Each is available both as a breakdown and as a metric, so a numeric ID can group a report or sit in its own column alongside performance figures. The numeric form matches how many downstream systems store campaign identifiers, which makes joining X data against them easier. The existing string IDs are unchanged and remain available. See [Data reference](/data-sources/o-z/x-twitter-ads/data-reference#standard-hierarchy) for the full hierarchy field list.
