# How to connect

> How to connect the Yandex Direct data source to Adriel: authorize a Yandex account, pick the advertiser or agency client, and import daily search performance.

Yandex Direct is the dominant search advertising platform in Russia and CIS markets. Connecting it brings daily campaign, ad group, and ad performance into Adriel dashboards alongside Google Ads and other search platforms.

## Before you connect

The following are required:

* A Yandex Direct account with API access. Authorization is handled through Yandex OAuth, so no API key needs to be pasted.
* For agency users, the client login of the advertiser to track.

## Connect Yandex Direct

    On the **Data Sources** page, search for **Yandex Direct** and select it.

  <Step title="Authorize with Yandex">
    Adriel redirects to the Yandex OAuth authorization screen. Sign in with a Yandex account that has access to the target advertiser, then approve the requested permissions. Yandex redirects back to Adriel once access is granted.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick the advertiser or agency client">
    Choose the client to connect. For direct advertisers, the account resolves automatically. For agency access, select which client to track from the available list.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Submit">
    Click **Submit** to complete the connection. The initial import runs in the background — campaigns typically appear within one business day.

## What gets imported

The connector imports daily performance at the campaign, ad group, and ad levels, with spend reported in the account currency (typically RUB). Metrics are standardized to Adriel's model, so Yandex Direct data can be combined with other search platforms in the same widget.
