Amazon DSP is Amazon’s demand-side platform for programmatic display, video, audio, and over-the-top advertising across Amazon-owned properties such as IMDb, Twitch, and Fire TV, as well as third-party publishers. Connecting it brings the DSP advertiser, order, line-item, and creative hierarchy into Adriel dashboards alongside performance, viewability, video, and conversion metrics.

Before you connect

The following are required:
  • An Amazon DSP account with admin access.
  • An Amazon login (Login with Amazon) with permission to manage the DSP advertiser. The authorization grants the cpc_advertising:campaign_management scope.
Amazon DSP is distinct from Amazon Ads, which covers Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display on Amazon’s retail surface. The same Login with Amazon credentials cover both.

Connect Amazon DSP

1

Authorize the Amazon account

On the Data Sources page, search for Amazon DSP and select it. Sign in with Login with Amazon in the pop-up window, then click Allow to grant access. Amazon requests the cpc_advertising:campaign_management scope.
2

Select the profile and advertiser

On the data source settings, choose the two mandatory fields for the account to connect. Set Profile to the Amazon DSP account profile — the region (NA, EU, or FE) is auto-detected from the authenticated profile. Set Advertiser to the linked DSP advertiser under that profile.
3

Submit

Click Submit to complete the connection. Initial data availability can take up to one business day. The cache backfills with 89 days of historical data at the advertiser, campaign, ad set, and ad levels.

What gets imported

The connector imports the full DSP hierarchy from advertiser to order to line item to creative, with performance metrics (impressions, click-throughs, eCPM, eCPC, eCPA, total cost, supply cost), viewability metrics including per-vendor data from DoubleVerify, IAS, ComScore, and DoubleClick, video quartile metrics, and conversion metrics on Amazon’s fixed 14-day attribution window. Breakdowns include creative title, deal type, supply source, creative size, browser, and operating system. For the complete list of metrics, breakdowns, and attribution logic, see the Amazon DSP data reference.

Troubleshooting

Amazon DSP enforces a 14-day attribution window across all conversion metrics, surfaced with a 14d suffix. Shorter or longer windows are not supported by the DSP API. Differences against platforms with other defaults (for example, a 7-day click window) reflect this attribution mismatch.
When ASINs are added to or removed from a campaign after it starts, Amazon restates conversion attribution using the current ASIN set. Restatements apply retroactively and settle within 28 days, so older periods can change between refreshes.
Amazon DSP does not expose ROAS variants as API fields. They are computed downstream from underlying spend and conversion-value data. Combined and new-to-brand ROAS variants appear as derived metrics.
Reports are cache-only and refresh once daily for the last 7 days. The most recent hours of activity are not fetched live on dashboard load.
Re-establish the connection from Connections > Amazon DSP > Reconnect. The same Login with Amazon credentials cover both Amazon DSP and Amazon Ads.
