Why is my most recent Amazon Vendor Central data missing for the last few days?
This is expected. Amazon does not release vendor sales data immediately — the most recent 3 days are withheld at the source. Dates that fall within the last 3 days relative to today return no rows, and no error is raised; the data appears once Amazon makes it available. For widgets that use rolling “last N days” ranges, the trailing 3-day window will read as empty until it clears the lag. Excluding or visibly marking those most-recent days keeps totals and trend lines from looking like a sudden drop. For the full refresh behavior, see the Amazon Vendor Central data reference.
Why is my initial Amazon Vendor Central import taking so long?
Amazon’s Selling Partner API caps report creation for this connector at 1 request per minute, and this limit is shared across all Amazon Vendor Central data sources of the same type. Because history is fetched one day at a time, the initial import of the historical window works through many sequential requests and progresses gradually rather than all at once.Workspaces that connect several accounts feel this most, since they all draw from the same per-minute allowance. The import continues in the background — once a day is cached, its data stays available and does not need to be re-fetched.
How far back does my Amazon Vendor Central history go?
Adriel imports up to the last 180 days when the data source is first connected. Given the 3-day source lag, that translates to roughly 177 days of completed sales data at connection time.Because Adriel caches the data, the longer the data source stays connected, the more historical data is stored — coverage grows day by day beyond the initial window. Data older than 180 days before the connection date is not part of the initial import.
Why does Amazon Vendor Central only show shipped-sales metrics and not forecasts or inventory?
The connector reads a single report: the vendor sales report. That report exposes shipped-sales fields — shipped revenue, shipped COGS, shipped units, and customer returns — broken down by ASIN and day. Those are the metrics and breakdowns available in Adriel for this data source.Other Vendor Central analytics surfaces, such as demand forecasts, inventory health, and chargebacks, come from different reports that this connector does not read, so they are not available here. The full field list is in the Amazon Vendor Central data reference.
Can I report on more than one Amazon marketplace in a single data source?
Yes. During setup the marketplace field accepts multiple selections from the 23 supported Amazon marketplaces across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Asia-Pacific. All selected marketplaces are combined into one data source and requested together, so a single Amazon Vendor Central data source can cover several regions at once.To separate performance by region within that data source, break the widget down by ASIN or use the marketplace-level view where products differ across markets. Setup details are covered in How to connect Amazon Vendor Central to Adriel.
Why don’t my Amazon Vendor Central and Amazon Seller Central numbers match?
The two connectors report different businesses. Vendor Central covers first-party (1P) sales — products sold wholesale to Amazon, reported as shipped-sales data. Seller Central covers third-party (3P) marketplace sales that a brand fulfills or sells directly. They draw on separate Amazon reports and are not expected to reconcile to the same totals. An account that sells both ways will have a separate data source for each. Compare them side by side rather than expecting one to equal the other; see the Amazon Seller Central data reference for what that connector exposes.
