Why don’t my Constant Contact Email metrics change when I adjust the date range?
Constant Contact’s stats API returns lifetime totals per campaign rather than a day-by-day time series, so the metric values in a report are cumulative counts for each campaign’s entire life. Because of this, the date range in Adriel controls which campaigns appear in a report — not the numbers inside them. A campaign is included when its campaign created-at or campaign updated-at timestamp falls within the selected range. Widening or narrowing the range adds or removes whole campaigns, but it does not slice a campaign’s totals down to a specific period. To compare activity across periods, group by the campaign created-at or campaign updated-at breakdown rather than expecting the totals themselves to change. For the full list of metrics and breakdowns, see the Constant Contact Email data reference. Why did my Constant Contact Email data source disconnect and ask me to reconnect?
Constant Contact authorizes the connection with a refresh token, and Adriel renews access automatically in the background. Constant Contact can invalidate or expire that refresh token on its side — for example after a password change or a long period of inactivity. When the token is no longer valid, Constant Contact returnsThe refresh token is invalid or expired., and Adriel disconnects the data source so the problem is visible rather than silently returning stale data. Reauthorizing restores the connection; follow How to connect Constant Contact Email to Adriel again to sign back in.
If the data source keeps disconnecting immediately after each successful reconnect, email support@adriel.com with the account details so the connection can be investigated.
