Connect etracker
1
Select the data source
On the Data Sources page, search for etracker and select it.
2
Enter the access token
Under Connection Settings, enter the Access Token copied from etracker and click Submit.
3
Choose the report
Under Data Source Settings, set the required and optional fields:
- [Required] Report ID: Select one or more reports to connect. Each report binds its own column list of available metrics and breakdowns.
- [Optional] Name: Enter an identifiable name for the data source. This helps distinguish multiple etracker data sources.
4
Submit
Click Submit to complete the connection. Initial data availability can take up to one business day. Day, week, and month breakdowns appear when the selected report includes the
utm_date column.What gets imported
The connector imports the rows returned by the selected etracker report, with metrics and breakdowns driven by that report’s column list. Standard analytics fields — visits, unique visitors, page views, bounce rate, average time on site, conversions, revenue, and order count — appear when the report exposes them. Day, week, and month breakdowns are available for reports that include theutm_date column.
For the complete field list, see the etracker data reference.
Troubleshooting
Date breakdowns are missing for a report
Date breakdowns are missing for a report
Day, week, and month groupings appear only when the selected report’s metadata includes a column with
id equal to utm_date. Reports that lack that column return aggregate rows only. Adjust the report inside etracker to include the date column, or pick a different report.A different report is needed
A different report is needed
Each data source binds to a single report. Add a new data source for each additional report rather than swapping reports inside an existing connection.
Requests start failing after token rotation
Requests start failing after token rotation
The access token is long-lived and stored at connection setup. Rotating or revoking the token inside etracker invalidates every subsequent request. Re-save the connection with the new token to restore reporting.
A metric or breakdown is missing from the field picker
A metric or breakdown is missing from the field picker
Available fields reflect the columns the selected report declares in its metadata. Add the missing column to the etracker report definition and re-save the data source so the metadata is refetched.
