Why does my dashboard show two spend values?

Kakao Moment exposes spend in two forms. Ad spend (excl. VAT) is the raw cost returned by Kakao, and Ad spend (incl. VAT) is that same cost with Korea’s 10% value-added tax applied. Both are always available as separate metrics so a widget can report either the pre-tax media cost or the tax-inclusive amount. Derived cost metrics such as CPC and CPA are calculated from the pre-VAT spend. To compare against Kakao’s own billing, pick the metric that matches the figure being checked.

What currency does Kakao Moment report in?

Kakao Moment is a Korean platform, and all monetary values come from Kakao in Korean won (KRW). When the ad account currency matches the workspace currency, values pass through unchanged. When the workspace uses a different base currency, spend and other monetary metrics are converted using the current day’s exchange rate, so amounts shown in another currency can shift slightly day to day as rates move.

Why is my reach higher than expected over a multi-day range?

Reach counts unique users, and Kakao provides it per day. When a date range spans more than one day, the daily figures are combined, and a user who saw the ad on several days is counted on each of those days. This makes reach and other uniqueness-based metrics read higher over a multi-day range than the true number of distinct people. For an accurate unique count, view reach one day at a time rather than across a wide range.

Why can I only break down age, gender, and device at the ad-account level?

The audience and delivery breakdowns — age, gender, age and gender combined, device target, placement, hour of day, location, and creative format — are provided by Kakao only at the ad-account level. Kakao’s reporting does not return these splits per campaign, ad group, or creative, so Adriel cannot offer them at those levels. Campaign, ad group, and creative breakdowns remain available on their own; they just cannot be combined with an audience or delivery breakdown in the same view. For the full breakdown list, see the Kakao Moment data reference.

Why is data older than 12 months missing or incomplete?

Adriel imports up to 365 days of history when the data source is first connected, and because Adriel caches the data, the longer the data source stays connected the more history is stored. Access is guaranteed for the most recent 12 months. Data beyond that window relies on older cached records and may be incomplete or unavailable. A separate limitation applies to deleted elements: once a campaign, ad group, or creative is removed in the Kakao ad account, its past performance can no longer be retrieved and is missing from reports.

Why do I need to reconnect with the correct Kakao account?

Kakao grants report access based on the authorized Kakao account’s permissions on the ad account. If the data source is reconnected using a Kakao account that lacks access to the same ad account, Kakao rejects the requests and the connection stops returning data. The fix is to reconnect using the Kakao account that has permission on that ad account. For the connection steps, see How to connect Kakao Moment to Adriel. If reports still fail after reconnecting with the correct account, email support@adriel.com with the ad account details and the affected dashboard URL.
