Naver GFA (Guaranteed Fixed Advertising) is Naver’s performance-oriented display advertising platform, delivering banner and video ads across Naver’s web portal, services like Naver Webtoon and Naver Blog, and partner properties. It is distinct from Naver Search Ads, which handles search. The connection model differs from every other ad connector: because Naver GFA does not expose OAuth or API keys to advertisers, Adriel uses a shared internal Naver account that is granted manager access to the GFA ad account, and data is retrieved through that shared session.

Before you connect

The following are required:
  • A Naver GFA ad account with admin access.
  • The ability to add a manager account to the GFA ad account.
  • The internal manager account ID that Adriel provides during setup.
  • The Advertiser ID for the GFA ad account. To find it, sign in at gfa.naver.com; the numbers at the end of the account URL are the Advertiser ID. In https://gfa.naver.com/adAccount/accounts/1234567?accessAdAccountNo=1234567, the Advertiser ID is 1234567.

Connect Naver GFA

1

Select Naver GFA

On the Data Sources page, search for Naver GFA and select it. Enter the Advertiser ID gathered earlier, then click Submit.
2

Name the data source

Enter an Account Name — any readable, identifiable label — then click Submit. A new connection appears in the Connected data sources list with a Pending status.
3

Accept the manager invitation

Once the settings are checked, Naver sends an invitation email to join the Adriel account as a member, from gfa_noreply@navercorp.com. Open the email and complete the acceptance, then accept the administration access on the redirected page to finish the connection.
Initial data availability can take up to one business day.

What gets imported

The connector imports the full campaign hierarchy (ad account → campaign → ad set → ad), standard performance metrics in KRW (with and without VAT), demographic and device breakdowns (age, gender, device target, hour of day, OS), and Korean e-commerce conversion events including purchase, addToCart, signUp, wishlist, reservation, nPay (Naver Pay), and the generic convCount. For the complete metric list, breakdown coverage, and refresh schedule, see the Naver GFA data reference.

Troubleshooting

Naver invitation emails are sometimes not delivered. In that case, sign in to the GFA advertising account and approve the invitation directly under the integrated advertiser center: open Settings, then Permission management, then the linked-manager-account section, find the pending Adriel Management entry (the trailing number may vary), and click Accept.
Naver GFA does not expose a public OAuth API, so there is no per-account sign-in. The only programmatic access model is session-based, and connections are powered by a shared internal Naver account that the GFA ad account grants manager access to. This is the same model Naver GFA uses for human agency partners.
The manager account ID must exactly match the one Adriel provides during setup. With the correct ID, the initial sync can take up to one business day. The internal session is refreshed every two hours; if a refresh was in progress when the sync was queued, it retries on the next cycle.
Naver GFA reports spend in two variants: with VAT (10% Korean tax) and without. Both are exposed as separate metrics — Ad Spend (without VAT) and Ad Spend (incl. VAT). Confirm the widget references the intended variant.
Manager access on the GFA account has been revoked. Re-add the manager account in the GFA admin and reconnect the data source.
