Naver Search Ads is the paid search advertising platform for Naver, South Korea’s leading search engine. Connecting it brings the full campaign hierarchy (ad account, campaign, ad set, ad, and keyword), daily performance metrics, keyword-level data, and conversion events into Adriel dashboards alongside other marketing sources, with cost standardized for cross-channel reporting.

Before you connect

Unlike most ad platforms, Naver Search Ads uses HMAC-signed API requests rather than a browser authorization flow, so credentials are entered manually. Gather the following from the Naver Search Ads admin first — all three values are generated from the same screen, under Tools > API Usage Management:
  • Access License — the API key issued by Naver Search Ads.
  • Private Key — the secret paired with the Access License, shown only once at generation time.
  • Customer ID — the numeric ad account identifier.
Admin or operator-level access on the Naver Search Ads account is required to issue these credentials. All cost data is reported in KRW (Korean Won). Workspaces that display a different currency receive auto-converted values based on the current day’s exchange rate.

What gets imported

Performance data is imported at every level of the campaign hierarchy — ad account, campaign, ad set, ad, and keyword — along with seven per-ad-account segmentations covering age, gender, device target, hour of day, location, search term view, and shopping keyword. Conversion events configured on the Naver account, such as 구매 (Purchase), 가입 (Sign-up), 장바구니 넣기 (Add to cart), and 구매완료 (Purchase Complete), are auto-imported as individual metrics. For the complete metric list, breakdowns, refresh cadence, and date-range limits, see the Naver Search Ads data reference.

Troubleshooting

Naver Search Ads is a cache-only connector, so the initial backfill can take up to one business day. If the connection remains empty after 24 hours, verify that the Customer ID matches the ad account the Access License was generated against — credentials issued under a different ad account are a common cause of empty data.
Naver Search Ads credentials do not auto-rotate, but they can be revoked manually under Tools > API Usage Management in the Naver admin. A connection that suddenly fails authentication usually indicates revoked or rotated keys. Reconnect with refreshed credentials.
Purchase Complete is retrieved through a separate API path from the rest of the report data and is merged into report rows on a different schedule. Small short-term mismatches with the Naver UI are expected; figures reconcile after the next full report refresh.
Naver Search Ads reports only in KRW. Workspaces that display a different currency receive auto-converted values at the current day’s exchange rate.
