Before you connect
The following are required:- A Shopee Open Platform seller account with Ads enabled.
- An active or recently active Shopee Ads campaign on the target shop or merchant account.
- Permission to authorize third-party applications on the Shopee account.
- A decision on authorization scope: a single shop, or a merchant main account that spans all shops under the merchant.
Connect Shopee Ads
1
Open the connector form
On the Data Sources page, search for Shopee Ads and select it. Confirm this is the paid-advertising connector, not the Shopee e-commerce connector, before continuing.
2
Start the OAuth flow
Click Connect to be redirected to the Shopee Open Platform consent screen.
3
Authorize the connection
Sign in with the Shopee seller account and choose the authorization scope — Single shop for one shop, or Merchant main account to grant access across all shops under the merchant.
4
Confirm the connection name
After the redirect back to Adriel, the connection is named
{shopId} (ads) or {mainAccountId} (ads) to keep it distinct from the Shopee e-commerce connection.5
Select the shop
When authorized at the merchant level, choose which shop this data source should cover. A single-shop authorization skips this step.
6
Choose metrics and breakdowns
Select metrics across spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, and ad-attributed sales, plus breakdowns for campaign, ad type, product, and day.
7
Save the data source
Click Save to complete the connection. An initial 180-day backfill runs in the background, and the report cache then follows its daily refresh schedule.
What gets imported
Campaign performance is returned at daily granularity in the shop’s home currency, broken down by campaign, ad type, and product. Metrics include spend, impressions, clicks, CTR, direct and broad sales, conversions, ROAS, and campaign budget. The initial fetch covers 180 days, and daily refreshes resync the trailing 10 days. For the complete metric list, breakdowns, and refresh behavior, see the Shopee Ads data reference.Troubleshooting
Currency mismatch across shops
Currency mismatch across shops
Each shop reports in its own home currency, which varies across SEA markets. Cross-shop aggregation requires currency normalization downstream — either connect a single shop per data source, or apply conversion in the dashboard layer.
Connection name collides with the Shopee e-commerce connection
Connection name collides with the Shopee e-commerce connection
The connection name is set automatically to
{shopId} (ads) to keep it visually distinct from the Shopee e-commerce connection. Rename inside the dashboard only — do not rename the underlying connection record.Token refresh fails
Token refresh fails
Both the access and refresh tokens are rotated on each refresh cycle. If a sync is paused for an extended period and the refresh token expires upstream, disconnect and re-authorize to issue a new token pair.
Dates older than 180 days return empty
Dates older than 180 days return empty
The cached daily window covers only the 180 days backfilled at connection time. Queries spanning earlier dates return no data for the missing range.
