Before you connect
The following are required:- A StackAdapt account with API access enabled.
- A StackAdapt GraphQL API key. GraphQL credentials are separate from the older REST API key; the REST key retrievable from the StackAdapt UI will not authenticate against the GraphQL endpoint. If a GraphQL API key is not yet available, contact StackAdapt support to request one.
- Permission on the advertisers whose data should be imported.
Connect StackAdapt
1
Request the GraphQL API key
Request a GraphQL API key from the StackAdapt team. The key is a unique alphanumeric string, issued separately from any REST API credentials.
2
Add the API key in Adriel
On the Data Sources page, search for StackAdapt and select it. Enter the GraphQL API Key from the previous step, then click Submit.
3
Select the advertiser
Choose the Name to connect from the drop-down list. One name corresponds to one data source. To import multiple advertisers, repeat the process for each name.
4
Submit
Click Submit to complete the connection. Initial data availability can take up to one business day.
What gets imported
The connector imports performance data at advertiser, campaign, ad group, and creative levels, with breakdowns across channel (native, display, video, audio, CTV), country, device, and day. Standard metrics include impressions, clicks, spend, conversions, engagements, and video completions, plus derived rates such as CTR, CPC, CPM, and VTR. Architecture refreshes twice daily, and report data is available in real time with scheduled syncs over rolling 3-, 9-, and 30-day windows. For the complete list of metrics, breakdowns, refresh cadence, and date range limits, see the StackAdapt data reference.Troubleshooting
Authentication fails with a known-good StackAdapt API key
Authentication fails with a known-good StackAdapt API key
StackAdapt issues GraphQL API credentials independently of REST API credentials. A REST key will not authenticate against the GraphQL endpoint. Request a GraphQL-specific key from StackAdapt support and reconnect.
Connection fails after working previously
Connection fails after working previously
The API key is not rotated automatically. When StackAdapt revokes the key on their side, the connection must be re-established with a freshly issued key.
Spend totals default to USD on non-USD advertisers
Spend totals default to USD on non-USD advertisers
When advertiser currency metadata is unavailable at data source creation, USD is used as the default. Review spend totals and ask StackAdapt to set the advertiser currency explicitly when working with non-USD accounts.
Cross-advertiser totals do not aggregate inside one data source
Cross-advertiser totals do not aggregate inside one data source
One data source is created per selected advertiser. Roll-ups across advertisers happen at the dashboard layer.
