Why can’t I see creative (ad) level data in The Trade Desk?

The Trade Desk connector reads from the TTD GraphQL API, which does not expose creative-level reporting. Data is available down to the ad group (ad set) level — the reporting hierarchy is ad account (advertiser), then campaign, then ad group — but not the individual ad (creative) beneath it. For ad-level analysis, use the companion The Trade Desk: My Report connector, which sources custom reports that can include creative-level rows.

Why don’t my custom conversions appear in The Trade Desk?

Custom conversion events are not exposed by the TTD GraphQL API, so they cannot be surfaced through this connector. The standard connector reports the conversion metrics it does receive — Revenue, Pixel revenue, and Conversion value — but not per-event custom conversions. For custom conversion reporting, use the The Trade Desk: My Report connector, which can pull custom report definitions that include those events.

Why can’t I total Bid CPM, Win rate, or Completion rate across days?

Bid CPM, Win rate, and Completion rate are non-aggregable by design. They are point-in-time weighted averages or percentages, so summing them across days or across a breakdown would produce a meaningless number. Dashboards therefore show these values per row and do not display a total for them. To compare them over time, view them at a daily breakdown or narrow the date range instead of relying on a summed total.

Why do Spend, Advertiser cost, Revenue, Pixel revenue, and Conversion value show identical numbers?

This is expected. Spend and Advertiser cost map to the same underlying spend field, and Revenue, Pixel revenue, and Conversion value all map to the same underlying revenue field. The duplicate names exist so cross-platform widgets line up regardless of which label a given source uses — for example, Pixel revenue is available for ROAS calculations that expect that name. Because they resolve to one value each, any of the matching names can be used interchangeably in a widget.

Can I break reports down by month?

No. The Trade Desk connector supports a daily breakdown and a full-range (aggregated) total, but not monthly grouping. To approximate a monthly view, set the dashboard date range to the month of interest and read the aggregated total, or use the daily breakdown and group visually in a chart.

Why is there no data older than one year?

The TTD GraphQL API does not serve data older than one year, so the connector can fetch at most 365 days of history. Requests that reach further back return no data for the out-of-range portion. For the full picture of what the connector stores and how far back it reaches, see the data reference.
