Yahoo! DSP is Yahoo’s demand-side platform for programmatic advertising across display, video, native, connected TV (CTV), and digital out-of-home (DOOH) on Yahoo’s network and third-party publishers. Connecting it brings the full campaign hierarchy and Yahoo! DSP’s broad measurement surface — performance, viewability, video completion, brand safety, audience reach, and fee breakdowns — into Adriel dashboards alongside other marketing sources.
Yahoo! DSP covers programmatic buying across display, video, native, CTV, and DOOH. For Yahoo’s standard search and display through the advertiser interface, use the separate Yahoo! Ads connector.

Before you connect

The following are required:
  • A Yahoo! DSP account with admin or operator-level access.
  • A Client ID and Client Secret issued by Yahoo! DSP for API access. To generate them, log in to the Yahoo! DSP account, follow Yahoo’s setup access guide, open My Account from the profile menu, then select Activate and click Agree. Copy and store both values — lost credentials cannot be recovered and must be regenerated.
  • Seat Access on the Yahoo! DSP account for Yahoo Native (Mail Ad) metrics. Either Seat or GAN access is required for DOOH-specific metrics.

What gets imported

The connector imports data at every level of the campaign hierarchy — ad account, campaign, ad set (line item), and ad (creative). Performance metrics arrive alongside viewability metrics (Moat, GroupM, Yahoo viewability), video completion metrics (25/50/75/100%, CPCV, drop rates), brand safety and ad verification costs, audience and reach metrics (unique households, average frequency), Yahoo Native (Mail Ad) metrics where Seat Access is granted, DOOH-specific metrics, and fee breakdowns. For the complete list of metrics, breakdowns, and refresh cadence, see the Yahoo! DSP data reference.

Troubleshooting

Viewability metrics depend on the third-party verification provider configured on the Yahoo! DSP campaign. Moat and Yahoo native viewability metrics surface in the connector; campaigns using GroupM only populate the GroupM viewability metric set.
Mail Ad metrics require Seat Access on the Yahoo! DSP account. GAN-only access does not expose these metrics.
These two metrics are intentionally excluded from API requests and never populate.
Access tokens are minted on demand from the stored Client ID and Client Secret, so there is no user-facing token expiry. If Yahoo! DSP regenerates the Client Secret, update the stored credentials in Connections > Yahoo! DSP.
