Active Campaign is an email-marketing and CRM-automation platform for sending broadcast campaigns, running multi-step automations, and managing contact lists. Connecting it brings campaign performance into Adriel dashboards alongside paid-media results, so email contribution can be evaluated next to other channels.

Before you connect

The following are required:
  • An active Active Campaign account.
  • The account-specific API URL, typically formatted as https://{account}.api-us1.com.
  • An Active Campaign API key from the account’s developer settings.

Connect Active Campaign

Locate the Active Campaign API credentials

Sign in to Active Campaign. Open Settings, then click Developer. Copy both the URL and Key values. The URL is account-specific and typically formatted as https://{account}.api-us1.com.

Select Active Campaign in Adriel

On the Data Sources page, search for Active Campaign and select it.

Enter the credentials

Paste the URL into the API URL field and the Key into the API key field. Enter an identifiable name for the data source.

Submit

Click Submit to complete the connection. Initial data availability can take up to one business day.

What gets imported

The connector imports campaign performance, including send volume, open and click engagement, bounces, unsubscribes, and goal completions. The full dataset is replaced on each sync rather than partitioned by date. For the complete list of metrics and breakdowns, see the Active Campaign data reference.

Troubleshooting

The API URL is account-specific and must include the full subdomain, for example https://acme.api-us1.com. Confirm that the URL and key were copied from the same Active Campaign account.
Newly created campaigns and automations appear after the next sync cycle. Confirm the campaign or automation is in an active state and has at least one recorded event before reporting on it.
API keys are tied to the developer settings of the account that generated them. Regenerating a key invalidates the previous value; update the data source with the new key after rotation.
