Criteo is a global commerce-media platform best known for retargeting and performance display advertising across the open web. Connecting it pulls campaign- and ad-set-level performance from Criteo’s Stats API into Adriel dashboards, with architecture data merged from live endpoints and report-derived fallback so deleted entities still appear in historical reporting.
The Criteo Retail Media product (sponsored products on retailer sites) uses a different API and metric set. For that product, use the separate Criteo Retail Media connector instead.

Before you connect

The following are required:
  • A Criteo account with admin access.
  • The ability to complete the OAuth consent screen in a browser.
No manual API keys are required — OAuth handles credentials end to end.

Connect Criteo

1

Grant Adriel Criteo API access

On the Data Sources page, search for Criteo and select it. Sign in to the Criteo account in the OAuth pop-up, then on the Portfolio access page select the accounts to connect and click Ok. If the Already granted message does not appear after clicking Ok, redo the authorization.
2

Select the ad account

On the data source settings, choose the Ad Account to connect from the list.
3

Submit

Click Submit to complete the connection. Initial data availability can take up to one business day.

What gets imported

Performance data is imported at the ad account, campaign, ad set, and ad levels, with breakdowns across device, country, and day. Standard metrics include spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, and revenue, plus derived rates such as CTR, CPC, and ROAS. Spend and revenue are reported in the currency configured on the Criteo advertiser account. For the complete list of metrics, breakdowns, refresh cadence, and date range limits, see the Criteo data reference.

Troubleshooting

Criteo issues a new refresh token on every token refresh. When a refresh response omits the new value, the connection becomes unrecoverable. Open the Criteo data source in Connections and click Reconnect to redo the OAuth flow.
The most common cause is the rotating refresh token failing to return on a refresh attempt. Reconnect the data source with a fresh OAuth flow to restore it.
The Stats API exposes performance at the campaign, ad set, and ad levels. Deeper creative-level analysis must be performed in the Criteo dashboard directly.
Values are reported in the currency configured on the Criteo advertiser account. Workspaces using a different display currency receive auto-converted values.
