Why don’t my Google Ad Manager metrics look like my other ad platforms?
Google Ad Manager is a report-driven data source. Unlike connectors that expose a fixed Adriel catalog of metrics and breakdowns, its fields mirror exactly whatever the bound saved report is configured to return. Each field is named after its Google Ad Manager column (for exampleAD_UNIT_NAME, COUNTRY_NAME, or TOTAL_LINE_ITEM_LEVEL_IMPRESSIONS) rather than a normalized Adriel label, so the same concept can carry a different name here than on another platform.
Formatting also differs. Currency and percentage styling is not applied automatically, so revenue, CPM, and rate-style metrics arrive as plain numbers unless they are formatted in the widget. For the full field-typing model, see the data reference.
Why can’t I combine my Google Ad Manager data with another connector in one widget?
Google Ad Manager is a Generic data source. Its data can be viewed in a generic table, but it cannot be combined with other connector types in the same widget natively unless they share the same breakdowns. To report on Google Ad Manager alongside another source, configure Blend Data settings so the sources are aligned on a common breakdown before they are charted together.Why did a metric or breakdown disappear from my data source?
The available fields come entirely from the bound saved report, and the report definition is read fresh at each sync. Removing a column from the report in Google Ad Manager removes the matching field in Adriel after the next refresh; adding one brings it in the same way. A field can also drop out if the report returns zero rows for a sync, since no fields are exposed until a later sync returns data again. To restore a field, add the column back to the saved report in Google Ad Manager and wait for the next refresh.Why doesn’t the dashboard date picker filter my Google Ad Manager data?
The reporting window comes from the saved report, not from Adriel. The dashboard date picker only narrows the rows when the report includes a date breakdown, such as aDATE, WEEK, or MONTH column. A report with no date column produces a single snapshot covering whatever period the report defines, and the date picker has nothing to filter on.
One more case to check: if the report defines multiple date ranges, only the first range is imported and the rest are dropped. A report configured with a single date range and a date column behaves predictably with the date picker.
My Google Ad Manager data source stopped syncing — what happened?
A few report-side and authorization conditions stop new data from arriving:- The bound report was deleted or renamed in Google Ad Manager. Each data source is tied to one saved report; if that report no longer resolves, the data source can no longer pull new data. Recreate or restore the report, or connect the intended report as a new data source.
- The Google authorization expired or was revoked. This automatically disconnects the data source, and reconnecting requires re-authorizing. See How to connect Google Ad Manager.
- Google Ad Manager rate-limited the request. When the platform returns a rate-limit response, the sync fails for that run and is not retried automatically; it recovers on a later scheduled refresh.
