HubSpot Deals is a CRM-attribution integration that complements the standard HubSpot connector. Instead of exposing raw CRM objects, it links deals back to the contacts that originated them and uses UTM parameters captured on each contact’s first or last visited URL to attribute pipeline value to marketing campaigns.

Before you connect

The following are required:
  • A HubSpot account with Sales Hub access to the target portal.
  • Permission to authorize third-party apps in the portal.
  • The list of pipeline stage labels to track, across one or more deal pipelines.
  • A choice of date field for time-series reporting: deal creation, deal modification, contact creation, or contact modification.

Connect HubSpot Deals

1

Select the HubSpot account to connect

On the Data Sources page, search for HubSpot Deals and select it. Sign in to the HubSpot account when the pop-up window opens, then choose the account to connect. Only one account can be selected per connection — to connect more than one account, repeat the connection after this one completes.
2

Configure the data source

On the data source settings, fill in the required fields: Deal pipelines, How to filter by date, and Name. Optionally set How to match with marketing data to control first- or last-touch UTM attribution.
3

Submit

Click Submit to complete the connection. Initial data availability can take up to one business day.

What gets imported

The connector imports deal and contact data for the authorized portal and joins UTM parameters from each contact’s first and last tracked URLs onto the contact’s deals. For each selected stage, deal count, deal amount, monthly recurring revenue, and total contract value are exposed; breakdowns include pipeline, stage, deal owner, currency, and first- or last-touch UTM values. For the complete metric and breakdown list, see the HubSpot Deals data reference.

Troubleshooting

UTM attribution resolves through a contact-to-deal join, so a single breakdown cannot combine deal-side breakdowns (pipeline, stage, owner) with contact-side UTM breakdowns. Split the report into one widget per breakdown family.
Metrics are surfaced per stage label selected at data source creation. Adding a new stage in HubSpot does not retroactively expose it. Edit the data source to include the new stage label, then wait for the next sync.
The HubSpot Deals connector registers as a separate OAuth application from the standard HubSpot connector and uses independent client credentials. Authorize both to expose CRM data and pipeline-attribution metrics from the same portal.
