Mailchimp is an email-marketing and automation platform built around audiences, campaigns, and members. Connecting it brings per-campaign send and engagement data, audience growth, and e-commerce attribution into Adriel dashboards alongside ad-platform spend and other CRM sources.

Before you connect

The following are required:
  • A Mailchimp account with permission to authorize third-party apps.
  • A Mailchimp-connected e-commerce store, if orders and revenue metrics should flow into dashboards — accounts without an attached store report zero for those fields.

Connect Mailchimp

1

Authorize the Mailchimp account

On the Data Sources page, search for Mailchimp and select it. Sign in to Mailchimp in the pop-up window, then allow access on the consent screen to authorize the requested read permissions.
2

Select the account

On the data source settings, choose the Mailchimp account to connect.
3

Submit

Click Submit to complete the connection. The initial sync runs in the background — data typically appears within one business day.

What gets imported

The connector imports per-campaign send volume (emails sent, successful deliveries), engagement (unique opens, open rate, unique clicks, click rate, hard bounces, soft bounces, unsubscribes, abuse reports), e-commerce conversion (orders, revenue, average order revenue), and audience growth. Breakdowns include account, audience, campaign, campaign type, segment, and subscriber source. For the complete list of metrics and breakdowns, see the Mailchimp data reference.

Troubleshooting

Recipients sometimes open or click days or weeks after a campaign is sent. Reports are read live, so late events update the original send-date counts rather than appearing on the day they happened.
Mailchimp e-commerce metrics depend on a Mailchimp-connected store. Accounts without an attached e-commerce integration report zero for orders, revenue, and average order revenue. Connect a store in Mailchimp to populate these fields.
Mailchimp issues permanent OAuth tokens with no refresh cycle. Revoking the connected app inside Mailchimp invalidates the access token. Reconnect the data source to issue a new token.
