Why does my reach look too high over a long date range?
Device Reach and Household Reach count unique devices and households, deduplicated only within the selected date range. A wider window covers more distinct devices and households, so the reach total rises as the range grows. Because of this, reach is not additive: the reach for a full month is not the sum of the reach for each day in that month, since the same device can be counted on several days but only once across the range. Comparing reach across separate ranges is fine, but summing those ranges overstates the true figure. Frequency metrics behave the same way, as they depend on reach. See the Quantcast data reference for the date range limits on daily, weekly, and monthly breakdowns. Why do my two revenue sources land in one column?
Quantcast reports conversion revenue through two separate fields: one for platform-attributed revenue and one for pixel-attributed revenue. Both are standardized into a single Revenue metric in Adriel so revenue can aggregate cleanly alongside other data sources. The practical effect is that a campaign carrying both revenue types sees them combined in the Revenue column rather than split. This keeps totals consistent across widgets, but it means the two underlying sources cannot be separated back out within the Revenue metric. Why do my Clicks columns come in two versions?
Quantcast applies two levels of invalid-traffic filtering, and Adriel surfaces both as distinct metrics:- Clicks (Advanced IVT) — clicks remaining after Advanced Invalid Traffic detection, the stricter filter.
- Clicks (General IVT) — clicks remaining after General Invalid Traffic detection.
Why are some video or audio metrics empty?
Several Quantcast metrics are format-dependent and populate only when the campaign runs the matching ad format. Video completion metrics (for example, quartile completion rates, Completed Views, and CPCV) fill in only for video campaigns. Audio metrics (listen-through rates, Completed Listens, and CPCL) fill in only for audio campaigns. The same applies to brand-lift survey and conversion-pixel metrics. A campaign without a given format leaves those columns empty. This is expected: the metrics still exist in the field list because they are standardized across all Quantcast accounts, but they carry no value for a campaign that never ran that format. To confirm which formats are present, group by creative type in the widget. Why did a newly released Quantcast metric take a while to appear?
The available metrics are discovered per ad account directly from Quantcast, so the set of columns reflects what each account actually exposes. When Quantcast publishes a new metric, Adriel picks it up after the account’s metric list refreshes rather than the instant it goes live on the Quantcast side. If a metric that should be present is missing right after it launches, it generally appears on its own once the metric list next refreshes. For the refresh schedule, see the Quantcast data reference. If it is still missing well after that, emailsupport@adriel.com with the ad account and the metric name.
