Why don’t my RTB House conversion numbers match what I expect?

RTB House reports conversions under four count conventions, and each one is exposed as its own metric. The conventions are Attributed (conversions within the default attribution window), Post-view (view-through conversions), All post-click (all post-click conversions), and All conversions (all conversion types combined). A widget built on one convention will not equal a widget built on another, and conversion rate and eCPA are also reported per convention. To compare like with like, keep the same convention across widgets. The full list is in the RTB House data reference.

Why is a paused or archived ad missing from my ad-level report?

At the ad level, RTB House returns only active creatives. Paused or archived creatives may therefore not appear as individual ads, even though their historical performance still counts toward the campaign and ad set totals. To review that spend, report at the campaign or ad set level instead.

Why does a newly created ad show no campaign for a short time?

Ad-level rows are matched to their parent campaign from Adriel’s cached account structure. A creative that was just created may not yet be present in that structure, so its campaign association can be briefly missing and the ad can appear without a parent. This resolves once the account structure syncs again. See the RTB House data reference for the sync schedule.

Why don’t costs match the RTB House panel exactly?

Costs are reported in the ad account’s configured RTB House currency. When that currency differs from the workspace or teamspace currency, Adriel converts the values using the current day’s exchange rate. Converted totals can differ slightly from the native-currency figures shown in the RTB House panel. Comparing both in the same currency removes the difference.

Why do very wide date ranges get split, and how far back can I go?

A single RTB House report request covers at most 365 days, so Adriel splits a wider range into multiple requests and combines the results. On top of that, the maximum look-back depends on the date breakdown: Choosing a coarser breakdown allows a longer history in a single view.

Why do archived campaigns still appear in my reports?

Archived campaigns and ad sets are included in the account structure, so reports may list entities that are no longer actively managed. Archived ad accounts, by contrast, are excluded. Filtering a widget by status narrows it to running entities.
