Answers to the questions Shopee sellers ask most often about how their order and product data behaves in Adriel.

Can one Shopee data source cover both my orders and my products?

No. Each Shopee data source syncs one data type — either orders or products — and that choice is made when the data source is created. It is fixed for the life of that data source and cannot be switched afterward. To report on both orders and products, connect Shopee twice: one data source for orders and one for products. Each is created from the same Shopee shop, so both can sit on the same dashboard.

Why do cancelled Shopee orders show up as separate rows?

This is expected. When a Shopee order is cancelled, the original order record is left unchanged and a separate cancellation record is created alongside it. Keeping the two apart preserves the original order time and the cancellation time as distinct events, so neither is overwritten. Adriel maps each Shopee order to one of four statuses — opened, closed, cancelled, or unknown — so filtering by Order Status cleanly separates active orders from cancelled ones. To see the full history of a single order, include both its records rather than expecting one combined row.

What currency does my Shopee data use, and can I total sales across shops?

Each Shopee order is reported in that order’s own market currency (for example, PHP), taken directly from Shopee. When Shopee does not supply a currency, Adriel falls back to USD. Product prices follow the connected shop’s pricing currency in the same way. Because currency is per shop, connecting shops in different markets produces a mix of currencies on the same dashboard. A single summed total across those shops is only meaningful once the values are converted to one currency, so cross-shop totals should account for currency normalization rather than adding raw amounts together. For a single-market shop, all values already share one currency and total directly.

Why can’t I see Shopee orders from before I connected?

Shopee limits how far back order and product history can be retrieved. Adriel imports up to 90 days of history when the data source is first connected. Because Adriel caches the data, the longer the data source stays connected, the more historical data is stored and available for reporting over time. Data from before that 90-day window cannot be pulled from Shopee through the connector.

Why don’t today’s Shopee orders show up yet?

The current day is excluded from the Shopee order sync. A full day of orders becomes available only after that day closes in the shop’s local time, so today’s orders appear on a later sync rather than in real time. Newly placed or modified orders are not reflected immediately; they arrive on the next sync. For the sync schedule, see the Shopee data reference.

Why do some orders disappear when I filter by a product?

Product Order metrics link products to the orders that contain them, so they behave differently from plain order metrics. When a Product Order metric is used with a product filter, only the portion of each order tied to that product is counted, and only orders containing at least one matching product are shown. Orders with no matching product drop out of the result. There is one more effect to know: if a product can no longer be retrieved from Shopee — for example, because it was deleted — its related orders may not appear either. For that reason, Product Order metrics are best used only when product-level attribution is actually needed; for whole-order totals, use the standard order metrics instead.
