Why can I only pick metrics and breakdowns once, when I create the data source?

Why are my video, viewability, or geo-fence columns empty?
These metrics are campaign-dependent. Video completion, completed views, and viewability populate only when the underlying campaign runs video, CTV, or audio creative, and geo-fence visit counts populate only for addressable or geo-fence campaign types that track them. A display-only campaign leaves these columns empty because Simpli.fi does not produce those values for it. When a widget mixes campaign types, rows for campaigns that do not generate the metric appear blank while rows for campaigns that do show data. Simpli.fi authenticates with an App Key and User Key pair. Those keys do not expire on their own, but regenerating or revoking them in Simpli.fi invalidates the old pair right away. Any data source still holding the previous keys starts failing on its next request. The fix is to update the connection with the current key values. Simpli.fi conversions are attributed with a delay, and a value for a past date can change after the fact. Each refresh re-pulls a recent window of daily data, so restatements and late-attributed conversions that fall inside that window are picked up automatically, while changes to dates outside it are not re-fetched and keep the values stored from an earlier sync. Adriel imports up to the last 60 days of daily data when the Simpli.fi data source is first connected. Because Adriel caches the data, the longer the data source stays connected, the more historical data is stored, so coverage grows going forward from the connection date. Dates earlier than that initial 60-day window are not pulled by the first fetch. Historical analysis reaching further back relies on an export from the Simpli.fi platform.Common issues

Two Simpli.fi custom-report constraints:
- Historically, Simpli.fi only supported the 189 built-in template-based custom reports, not user-created custom reports. Support for user-created reports was added later as a fast-follow.
- Simpli.fi custom reports that don’t include a daily date breakdown return cumulative (period-total) values with no per-day rows. Adriel caches the same cumulative value each day and re-sums it, inflating totals by the length of the period.

- Use an Adriel template report that already includes one.
