The Trade Desk My Report connector binds a single pre-configured MyReport in The Trade Desk to a dashboard data source. Unlike the standard Trade Desk connector — which uses the Trade Desk GraphQL API and exposes campaign and ad-group reporting — My Report uses the Trade Desk reporting API to surface ad-level (creative) data, custom conversion metrics, and larger result sets. Because the report itself defines the metric and breakdown shape, the connector mirrors whatever columns the chosen MyReport returns. Schema changes made inside The Trade Desk propagate automatically on the next sync. The standard Trade Desk connector remains the simpler choice for campaign- and ad-group-level reporting; My Report is the option when creative-level analysis or custom conversions are required.

Before you connect

The following are required:
  • A Trade Desk account with API access, and permission to authorize third-party API access on it.
  • A pre-configured MyReport in the Trade Desk UI, with the desired breakdowns, metrics, custom conversions, and date-range pattern (rolling, custom, and similar) already saved. To create one, sign in to The Trade Desk, open the Reports section, build a new MyReport, save it, and note its name.
  • A Trade Desk API token with reporting access. Generate one in the Trade Desk UI under My AccountAPI tokens. This is the same token type used by the standard Trade Desk connector.

Connect The Trade Desk My Report

1

Open the connector

On the Data Sources page, search for The Trade Desk My Report and select it. Confirm this is the intended connector rather than the standard The Trade Desk connector before continuing.
2

Enter the API token

Paste the Trade Desk API token into the connector form and submit. Saving triggers a connection test against the reporting API.
3

Select the report

Choose the MyReport this data source should track from the list of available reports on the account.
4

Save the data source

Save to complete the connection. The report’s rows are imported on the standard refresh schedule.

What gets imported

The configured MyReport drives the metric and breakdown shape. Whichever columns the report returns — including ad-level breakdowns and custom conversion events that the standard Trade Desk connector cannot expose — are mirrored into dashboard fields. Currency reflects the advertiser’s setting in The Trade Desk, and granularity matches the report configuration. For the complete behavior, column-mapping logic, and the capability comparison with the standard connector, see the The Trade Desk My Report data reference.

Troubleshooting

The API token lacks reporting access, or no MyReports have been saved on the account. Re-issue the token with reporting access and confirm at least one MyReport exists in the Trade Desk UI.
The Trade Desk API token is invalid, expired, or revoked. Generate a new token under My AccountAPI tokens in The Trade Desk and re-enter it on the connector form.
The MyReport was edited in The Trade Desk and the column was removed or renamed. Restore the column in the report, or edit the data source mapping to point at the new column name.
The MyReport is configured without ad-level breakdowns. Edit the report in The Trade Desk to include ad (creative) as a breakdown, save, and trigger a sync.
The MyReport does not include the custom conversion columns. Add the custom conversion fields to the report in The Trade Desk and save before resyncing.
Very large exports can be truncated. Where possible, split a large MyReport into smaller reports so each export stays within the connector’s size limit.
