Vimeo surfaces channel-level and video-level performance for a connected Vimeo account through the Vimeo API. As a video-hosting platform rather than a social feed, the Vimeo channel is the closest equivalent of a page or account on other organic-social sources, and metrics cover the entire library of videos hosted on the connected account.

Before you connect

The following are required:
  • A Vimeo account with permission to authorize third-party applications.
  • Awareness that available metrics depend on the Vimeo plan tier (Free, Starter, Standard, Advanced, or Enterprise).
  • Workspace permission to add a new data source.

Connect Vimeo

Open the Vimeo connector

On the Data Sources page, search for Vimeo and select it.

Authorize through Vimeo OAuth

Sign in to the Vimeo account that owns the videos to track and approve the requested scopes. Authorization returns to the data source setup screen on completion.

Save the connection

Select Save to create the data source. On the first sync, lifetime metrics are retrieved for videos uploaded within the last 3655 days, and the daily-page window covers the last 90 days.

What gets imported

Lifetime channel and video data refreshes daily at 5:00 PM UTC; per-day rollups refresh at 6:00 PM UTC and overwrite the latest three days each cycle. Available metrics include plays, likes, comments, replies, and daily follower snapshots. Breakdowns include account, channel, video, and date. Troubleshooting

Available analytics depend on the Vimeo plan tier. Free accounts expose basic plays and likes; Starter, Standard, Advanced, and Enterprise plans progressively unlock richer engagement and audience data. Upgrade the Vimeo plan to surface additional metrics.
Videos that are deleted, set to private, or otherwise made inaccessible through the Vimeo API stop returning new metrics. Metrics cached from earlier refreshes remain queryable until the situation changes.
Follower-type metrics have no historical backfill — daily snapshots accumulate from the connection date forward. Delta values for videos older than the lifetime fetch window are not recorded.
