KPI targets sit on individual rows of a table widget. Each KPI is a target value for a metric at a specific level — a channel, campaign, ad set, ad, or custom group. Once set, the current value renders next to the target so the gap is visible at a glance. KPIs are useful for cost and rate metrics where leadership has agreed on a target — for example, “Meta Ads CPC under 1.50"or"GoogleAdsCTRabove41.50" or "Google Ads CTR above 4%". For top-line goals like "drive 10k in revenue this month”, use a goal widget instead.

Set a KPI

1

Open the table widget

KPIs work on any table-style widget. The ads table is the most common starting point.
2

Show the right columns

Open the widget settings panel (gear icon, top-right of the widget) and confirm the metrics that need KPI targets are visible as columns. Common targets: CPC, CTR, CPM, CPV, View rate, but any metric on the table is eligible.
3

Click the cell that needs a target

On the table row of interest — a channel, campaign, ad set, ad, or custom group — click the cell for the target metric. A small input appears.
4

Enter the target value

Type the target and confirm. The cell now displays both the current value and the target. The comparison updates on every refresh.

Edit or remove a KPI

Click the cell again to change the value, or clear the input to remove the target. KPIs are bound to the underlying data element (for example, the Meta Ads campaign ID), not the widget — moving the same campaign to another table preserves its target.

Targets and currency

For price metrics — CPC, CPM, CPA, and spend — KPI values are stored in the workspace currency at the moment the target was set. If the workspace currency changes later, the stored value is converted at read time using the current exchange rate. For non-price metrics (CTR, view rate, conversion count), no conversion is applied. For multi-currency workspaces and how exchange rates are sourced, see Multi-currency reporting.

CPV and view-rate caveat

What counts as a “video view” varies by platform — Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, and TikTok each have different definitions and minimum durations. CPV and view-rate targets should be set with the source platform’s definition in mind.

Permissions

Setting and editing KPIs is gated by workspace role. View only members cannot set targets; View and edit and Admin can. See Permissions and access.
