Adriel supports shareable links for four resource types: teamspace, folder, dashboard, and snapshot. The flow is common across all four — open the Share modal, click Create link, then configure how the link behaves. Recipients of a share link do not need an Adriel login.

What can be shared

Each resource can hold up to 5 independent share links. Different links can use different interaction types, access types, or expirations — for example, an internal stakeholder might get interactive access while a client gets a non-interactive password-protected link to the same dashboard.
1

Open the Share modal

Open the Share modal from the action that matches the resource:
  • Teamspace — hover the teamspace name in the left sidebar, click the vertical ellipsis, and choose Share.
  • Folder — open the folder’s menu and choose Share.
  • Dashboard — click the Share icon in the dashboard header.
  • Snapshot — open the snapshot and click Share.
2

Click Create link

The Share modal shows existing links for the resource (if any). Click Create link to start a new one. The configuration fields appear after the link is created.
3

Pick the interaction type

  • Interactive — recipients can hover widgets, drill into breakdowns, and change the date range.
  • Non-interactive — every control is locked; recipients see exactly what was shared.
Snapshots are always non-interactive.
4

Pick the access type

  • Public — no extra gating; anyone with the URL can view.
  • Password — recipients enter a shared password before viewing.
  • Email Verification — each recipient is sent a one-time code, and only verified emails can view.
5

Set a URL expiration (optional)

Pick an expiration date, or click No expiration to leave the link open-ended. Expired links return a “link expired” page to recipients.
6

Copy and send the URL

Copy the URL from the modal and send it — email, Slack, or any other delivery method.

After creation, what’s editable

Once a link is created, interaction type and access type are locked. To change either, delete the link and create a new one. Editable on an existing link:
  • Expiration date
  • Password value (for Password links)
  • Viewer allowlist (for Email Verification links)
  • Interactive settings — for interactive links, the fine-grained interaction controls (which controls stay live vs locked for recipients) can be adjusted after creation
In the Share modal, each existing link shows the access type, interaction type, and expiration date. Per-link actions:
  • Edit — open settings to change expiration, password, viewer list, or interactive settings.
  • Copy link — copy the URL to clipboard.
  • Delete — revoke the link immediately.
  • Resend invitation — only on Email Verification links, rate-limited to once every 5 seconds.
