Shared dashboard links depend on the workspace having an active subscription and the share type supporting the action the viewer is trying to take. Both are quick to confirm.

Quick checks

1

Open the link in a fresh incognito window

Rules out a stale cookie or a signed-in-elsewhere state.
2

Confirm the source workspace still has an active subscription

Trial and demo workspaces with expired subscriptions return subscription not active on any share link.
3

Confirm the share type matches what the viewer needs

Interactive shares support date changes; static shares don’t. A viewer trying to change dates on a static share sees no controls (not an error).

Likely causes

Shareable links depend on an active Stripe Subscription on the source workspace. An expired demo or trial workspace returns subscription not active until the trial is extended or a subscription is created.A quirk here: a one-off Stripe invoice charge is not a subscription — a workspace that paid a single invoice will still show as Trial in the settings badge and its share links will still fail. A recurring Stripe Subscription has to be created or linked for shareable links to work.→ For workspace admins: contact support@adriel.com or the account team to set up or extend the subscription.
Interactive shares now have a per-share date-lock toggle. The default is unlocked (viewers can change dates), but if the sender enabled the lock, viewers can’t change dates on that share. The sender can regenerate the share with the lock toggle disabled to restore date-change access.→ See Share via link.
Transient cache and connector timeouts do occur — a single upstream cache node can be momentarily unavailable, or a database connection can fail to acquire within its timeout. Share links can appear briefly broken and then load on a retry. If the same link works on a second attempt, this was almost certainly a transient issue.
Shared dashboards render whatever data the source workspace can pull. If the underlying source has been disconnected in the source workspace, the shared view shows the same disconnect on the viewer side.

Contact support

Email support@adriel.com with the share URL, the source workspace name, and a screenshot of the error. If the share is interactive, mention whether the sender expects viewers to be able to change dates.
