Quick checks
1
Click Refresh data in the dashboard header
Re-runs every widget against the latest source data — bypassing both the widget cache and the server-side query cache. A browser page refresh only re-renders the cached result.
2
Check the data source icon in the sidebar
A warning icon on a data source means the connection is broken, the token expired, or the underlying account revoked access.
3
Widen the date range
Attribution windows shift conversions for days after the click. Very recent dates can legitimately look empty.
Likely causes
The data source is disconnected
The data source is disconnected
Tokens expire, users lose access to the underlying ad account, and platforms occasionally revoke connections that haven’t been used in a while. Reconnect from the Data sources tab. Per-platform reconnect notes are on the connector’s own FAQs page.A common flavor of this: Meta returns error code 190 / subcode 459 (
LOGIN_REQUIRED_FOLLOW_INSTRUCTIONS) when Facebook places the user under a security checkpoint — a re-login, 2FA event, password change, or renewed permissions. Adriel disconnects the affected data sources automatically. The remedy is for the user to complete the Facebook prompts and then reconnect.→ See the connector’s FAQs page for platform-specific reconnect steps.
→ For the “everything disconnected at once” pattern, see Ad accounts disconnected overnight. The widget is pointed at the wrong data source
The widget is pointed at the wrong data source
Klaviyo Reporting connectors are created per report type (Campaigns, Flows, etc.). A widget pointed at the Flows data source will show no campaign rows even though the campaign data exists — under the Campaigns data source. TikTok Ads has a similar pattern: campaigns on a different ad account than the one connected to the workspace will not appear at all.Open the widget’s data settings and confirm every source it needs is selected and active.
A filter is excluding the data
A filter is excluding the data
Filters apply at three layers, and any one of them can hide rows:
Remove filters one at a time to isolate the culprit. Duplicate the widget first so the original settings aren’t lost.→ See Filters.
A workspace was set to cold
A workspace was set to cold
A workspace switched to
cold is skipped by data-collection workers and can be bulk-disconnected. Once the workspace is warmed back up, hourly and daily syncs resume and backfill the gap.→ See Workspace concepts.A newly connected data source is still syncing
A newly connected data source is still syncing
Freshly connected sources need time to pull historical data. First syncs typically finish in a few minutes but can stretch to several hours depending on the platform. Some platforms only expose data going forward from the connection date (Instagram Organic, LinkedIn Organic).→ See Refresh strategies.
A blended dataset is misconfigured
A blended dataset is misconfigured
A blended widget with mismatched join keys or a wrong join type can return zero rows. Left join is the default and correct for most scenarios (attaching a Google Sheet budget onto existing campaigns, for example) — but if the marketing source isn’t added or the join keys don’t overlap, the blended metrics collapse to nothing.→ See Data integration FAQs.
The platform is rate-limited or down
The platform is rate-limited or down
Ad platforms enforce API quotas and occasionally have outages. A
RATE_LIMIT or EXTERNAL_SERVICE_UNAVAILABLE warning on the widget indicates the platform refused or couldn’t serve the request. Wait for the rate limit to reset (typically within the hour), or check the platform’s status page.Still stuck?
