Adriel is organized in a four-level hierarchy: Workspace → Teamspace → Folder → Dashboard Understanding this structure is the foundation for everything else — access control, data source scoping, and how work is organized inside the app.

Workspace

A workspace is the top-level container. Every account has one workspace by default, and one workspace corresponds to one billing entity. Users can belong to multiple workspaces and switch between them from the account switcher. A workspace holds:
  • Connected data sources (ad accounts, analytics platforms, databases, files).
  • Teamspaces.
  • Members and their roles.
  • Plan and billing settings.
  • Global preferences (default currency, timezone).
  • Whitelabel branding (for agencies on qualifying plans).

Teamspace

A teamspace is a container inside a workspace for organizing dashboards, controlling member access, and scoping which data sources widgets can pull from. Teamspaces let one workspace serve multiple clients, product lines, or reporting audiences from the same set of connected data sources — without giving everyone access to everything. Every workspace starts with a General teamspace that’s created automatically and can’t be renamed, deleted, or duplicated. Any additional teamspaces are user-created. Each teamspace has its own settings — data sources, members, currency, exchange rates, number format — plus its own custom breakdowns, custom metrics, and AI Agent custom instructions on top of the workspace-level ones.

Folder

A folder is a way to organize dashboards inside a teamspace. Folders are optional — dashboards can live at the top level of a teamspace, or grouped into folders for clarity when the dashboard list gets long. Folders can be nested inside other folders.

Dashboard

A dashboard is where widgets live — the actual report a user builds and shares. Every dashboard belongs to a folder or directly to a teamspace.

Sharing across the hierarchy

Shared URLs can be generated at three levels — teamspace, folder, or dashboard — each producing a link that scopes viewers to just that part of the hierarchy. See Share via link.

Troubleshooting

A workspace switched to cold is skipped by data-collection workers, and can be bulk-disconnected by the cold-workspace worker with the disable reason COLD_WORKSPACE. Once the workspace is warmed back up, hourly and daily syncs resume and automatically backfill the gap.If a workspace is unexpectedly disconnected despite the force-warm flag, the flag may not have been active at the time or a permission changed on the underlying account.
