Members are the users who have access to a workspace. Each member has a role that decides what they can do, and can be organized into teams that get access to specific teamspaces.

Member roles

Every member has one of three workspace-level roles:
  • Admin — full control. Can invite and remove members, change roles, create and delete teamspaces, connect data sources, edit workspace settings, and take every dashboard-level action.
  • View and edit — can create and edit dashboards, connect data sources they’re given access to, and take widget-level actions like turning campaigns on and off. Can’t invite members or change workspace settings.
  • View only — can view dashboards they have access to and their data. Can’t edit dashboards, take campaign actions, or invite members.

Invite a member

Only Admin members can invite. From workspace settings, open the Members section.
1

Open the invite flow

Click the invite action on the Members page. An invite form opens.
2

Add email addresses

Enter one or more email addresses. Each row can be assigned its own role.
3

Assign a team (optional)

Pick an existing team, or type a new team name to create one. Team assignment controls which teamspaces the new member can access.
4

Send the invitations

Confirm. Each recipient receives an email with a signup link. Members that sign up appear as active in the Members page; pending invites show as “Pending” until accepted.

Seat cap

Some plans limit how many active members a workspace can have. If a plan is at cap, sending a new invite prompts to upgrade the plan first. Existing members that haven’t accepted don’t count against the cap until they sign up.

Change a member’s role

Only Admin members can change a role.
  • From the Members page, find the member and open the role dropdown on their row.
  • Pick the new role. The change takes effect immediately.
  • A member can’t lower or remove their own Admin role while they’re the only Admin in the workspace — the workspace always needs at least one Admin.

Remove a member

Only Admin members can remove members.
  • From the Members page, use the row action to remove a member.
  • Removed members lose access to every teamspace and dashboard in the workspace. Their user account itself isn’t deleted; they can still access other workspaces they belong to.

Teams

A team is a group of members that can be granted access to teamspaces together. Teams are optional but useful when a workspace has multiple teamspaces and different groups of members need access to different subsets. For example, a marketing agency might create:
  • A Client A team with the account managers on that account.
  • A Client B team with a different set of account managers.
  • A Leadership team with people who need visibility across every client.
Each team can then be added to the corresponding teamspaces from that teamspace’s settings.
When a team is added to a teamspace, any new member added to that team in the future automatically gets access to the teamspace. Team-based teamspace access stays in sync with team membership — no need to re-grant access every time a new member is added to a team.

Permissions

  • Only Admin members can invite, change roles, or remove members.
  • Any member can leave a workspace they belong to from their own account settings.
