Domain Configuration
Domain Configuration sets the custom domain the agency’s Adriel instance loads under (for example,dashboard.myagency.com instead of app.adriel.com), plus the page title, logo, and favicon.
Before you start
Two things to prepare:- Access to the DNS provider — Cloudflare, GoDaddy, Amazon Route 53, or wherever the agency’s domain DNS is managed. This is the same as or different from the domain registrar.
- The subdomain to use — pick a subdomain of the agency’s domain, for example
dashboard.myagency.com,bi.myagency.com, orapp.myagency.com.
Set up the DNS record
1
Log in to the DNS provider
Open the DNS settings for the agency’s domain.
2
Add a CNAME record
Create a new CNAME record with:
- Name — the subdomain (for example,
dashboardfordashboard.myagency.com). - Target —
whitelabel.dns.adriel.com.
3
Turn off Proxy mode and Enforce HTTPS only
Both settings must be off to complete SSL certification with HTTP. On Cloudflare specifically, the Proxy mode setting can be turned back on (or left off) after Adriel completes its configuration.
4
Contact Adriel
Once the DNS record is added, contact Adriel to complete the server-side configuration. Only after Adriel confirms can the Domain Configuration form below be submitted.
Fill in the Domain Configuration form
1
Domain
Enter the custom domain the DNS record points at, for example
dashboard.myagency.com.2
Page Title
Enter the text that shows in the browser tab next to the favicon — typically the agency’s brand name.
3
Submit
Save the domain configuration. The status changes from Not Configured to reflect the current state of setup.
Optional: Logo and favicon
Both take effect only after the domain configuration is complete. Until then, the default Adriel logo and favicon are shown.- Logo — appears in the top left corner of the platform. Recommended dimensions: 128 × 128 pixels.
- Favicon — the small icon in the browser tab and address bar. Recommended dimensions: 32 × 32 pixels.
Email Configuration
Email Configuration replaces the sender on every platform-generated email (scheduled reports, invites, alert notifications, and so on) with the agency’s own email address — so recipients see an email from the agency’s domain instead of an Adriel address. This overrides the From field on every email Adriel sends on behalf of the workspace. It’s separate from the recipient list — recipients are still set per email (per scheduled report, per alert, and so on).
SMTP settings
Fill in every field with the SMTP credentials from the agency’s email service:- SMTP Host — the SMTP server hostname (for example,
smtp.gmail.com). - SMTP Secure (TLS or SSL) Port — a secure port (for example,
465). Insecure ports like25or2525aren’t recommended because email contents pass through in the clear. - SMTP Username — the username or login provided by the SMTP provider.
- SMTP Password — the app password or credential for the account. This is stored securely and not shown again after saving.
- From Email Address — the address that shows in the From field of sent emails (for example,
no-reply@yourcompany.com). Must be verified with the SMTP provider. - From Name — the sender name recipients see in their inbox (for example, “Your Agency Reports”).
For Gmail accounts, Google treats third-party SMTP access as risky. Create an application password with 2-step authentication enabled instead of using the account password directly.
Test email
Once SMTP is configured, use the Test Email section to verify the setup:- Recipient — enter an email address to receive the test message.
- Click Send to fire a one-off email using the SMTP credentials above.
Permissions
Only workspace Admin members can configure whitelabeling.Troubleshooting

Confirm the CNAME record was added correctly at the DNS provider (Name = subdomain, Target =
whitelabel.dns.adriel.com), and that Proxy mode and Enforce HTTPS only are turned off. DNS changes can take a few minutes to propagate. If the status stays stuck after DNS propagation, contact Adriel to complete the server-side configuration.Logo or favicon isn't showing

Custom assets apply only after the Domain Configuration status is Completed. Confirm both the domain setup is finished and the asset is uploaded at the recommended dimensions.

Check the spam folder first. Confirm the SMTP host, port, username, password, and From Email Address are correct. Confirm the From Email Address is verified with the SMTP provider — most SMTP providers reject unverified sender addresses.
Whitelabeling settings don't appear even for an admin user
Whitelabeling settings don't appear even for an admin user
Whitelabeling settings are gated by two conditions:
- The workspace’s price plan must have whitelabeling enabled. This plan flag is enabled in the back office by Adriel.
- The member’s account role must be Admin. Back-office admins bypass the plan check.
